Lingerie Size Guide
TREATING A GODDESS IN YOUR LIFE?
Three easy steps to success:-
- Ideally, find out her current size and if you don’t know, and want to surprise, be a bit sneaky about it and check the labels of her favourite set. If you don’t know what the sizes mean and you’re about to get caught with her smalls in your hands (not ideal), then feel free to send us a quick snap of the size labels at hello@treatly.uk and we can help.
- Choose a lingerie subscription duration, add any preferences (e.g. thongs preferred to briefs), a personalised message if you like and check out. We then carefully curate items for her that are designed to flatter her shape and size, so you can’t really go wrong. There isn’t anything distasteful or tacky here- not a crotchless panty in sight!
- Fear not my friend, if it doesn’t fit her or she doesn’t like it, then she can return it and get a refund/exchange provided it’s returned in its original condition with labels still attached and all its packaging. Just email hello@treatly.uk if you have any problems and we will get back to you in a jiffy.

BRAS
How to measure for the perfect fit:-
- Band: Take a firm measurement in inches around the rib cage, directly underneath the breasts. Use a soft measuring tape flat against the skin and ensure it does not slip down at the back. Convert this measurement to band size as follows:-
Underbust Measurement |
Underband Size |
25” - 26” |
30 |
27” – 28” |
32 |
29” – 30” |
34 |
31” – 32” |
36 |
33” – 34” |
38 |
- Cup: Take a second measurement over the fullest part of the bust but do not make it too tight. Again, try to ensure the tape measure does not slip down your back. If the measurement falls on the half inch, round up! To determine your cup size, do a simple calculation. Take away this measurement from the original underbust measurement. The number you are left with determines your cup size as follows:-
Difference in inches |
Cup |
3 |
AA |
4 |
A |
5 |
B |
6 |
C |
7 |
D |
8 |
DD |
9 |
E |
10 |
F |
EXAMPLE: if you measure 28" on the underbust and 35” on the overbust. Calculation = 35"– 28" = 7” difference. You would therefore be a 32D :)
HANDY HINTS & TOP TIPS FOR FANTASTIC FIT
- By hook or by crook
A new bra should fit on the loosest hook, allowing you to tighten over time as the bra ages. If your old bra is loose on the tightest hook then it’s time for a new one.
- Size matters
Check your bra size every six months to make sure you are getting the right support and best shape.
- Wear it well
Once you have put your bra on, put your right hand into the left bra cup and lift yourself into the bra. Repeat this action on the other side. The wire should fit directly underneath the bottom of the breast (not on it). Adjust the straps so it is comfortable- they should support the breast lightly without putting pressure on the shoulders.
SORTING COMMON FIT ISSUES
- Underband: should be horizontal across the back and secure but with enough space to fit two fingers underneath.
Go up a band size if:
Breast tissue under the arms is bulging over the underband.
Go down a band size if:
The breasts are visible beneath the underband;
The underband is riding up the back.
- Cups: breasts should be fully enclosed in each cup with a smooth line where the cup ends.
Go up a cup size if:
The breasts are spilling out of the cups either under the arms or at the front.
Go down a cup size if:
The cups wrinkle or gape.
- Wires: should sit flat at the breastbone in between the breasts.
Go up a cup size if:
Wires are digging in;
Wires are lifting away from the breastbone.
Go down a cup size if:
Wires are slipping down towards the waist.
- Straps: should be able to be dropped and the bra stay in the exact same position. They should be secure but not too tight.
Loosen bra straps if:
They feel tight and make the cups dig into the breasts, creating a 'double bust' effect;
They dig into the shoulders.
Tighten bra straps if:
They slip off the shoulders.
